When Rexel discovered their customers could benefit from utility rebates in addition to reaping the energy savings afforded by newer, more efficient T8 bulbs, they needed an attention getting way to spread the word. After all - its like FOUND MONEY. Plus, T12 bulbs were being phased out permanently in keeping with federal legislation. This creative was used in print ads, an e-mail campaign and at point of sale (California residents may have also seen this stapled to a few utility poles). We secured the URL: t12phaseout.com (pretty cool huh?) and created a landing page that presented retrofit options, a listing of available utility and government rebates plus a savings calculator.
